Singularity is a sculptural installation that invites viewers to engage with the physicality of space, light, and form. Crafted from steel, folded into intricate origami, its surface folded and textured each crease and contour imbued with a tactile energy. Designed to be walked through, Singularity transforms the act of moving through it into a journey—both physical and perceptual. a space where light, color, and form converge, in a living landscape of color

STRUCTURE

Singularity is an  interplay of geometric precision and organic form in the shape of a 40ft tunnel that participants are drawn to and walk through. At one end, the tunnel is 14 ft tall and gradually tapering to 8’. This structure of steel and light has been created not just to be seen, but to be experienced. Pulling the observer into its folds, inviting them to step inside and become part of its world.

PHILOSOPHY

Small corridors lead participants in and out of the artwork, hidden within the folds. Designed to be walked through, Singularity transforms the act of moving through it into a journey—both physical and perceptual. As visitors step inside, the tunnel becomes a space where light, color, and form converge, enveloping them in an experience akin to moving through fluid, as though they were immersed in a living landscape of color.  The exterior of the tunnel is studded with complex 3D origami shapes, and runs an intricate pattern of lights, inviting people to the tunnel entrance.
