Your face is burning. Your stomach starts spinning and drops of sweat seep through your skin all over your body. Love burns and makes your head spin. SPIKE is a giant heart and fire sculpture that exposes you to symptoms of love. Feel your temperature rise. SPIKE is a 9’ tall active fire sculpture made of bronze and stainless steel in the shape of a heart, with two spinning fire teardrops inside. Fire can be a bright yellow to a light blue. All of the effects are operator controlled from outside the barricades. SPIKE can run for three to five hours. The flickering rotating tear drop flames come out of schedule 40 stainless steel NPT tubing wrapped with stainless steel wool. The sculpture is made from hardened stainless steel tube, capable of taking extreme heat conditions without distortion. Flames are controlled by ball valve.
