Josh Katz - @JKATZART
Josh Katz is a queer spray paint artist based out of Oakland, Ca. His vibrant murals portray complex patterns inspired by floral motifs, graffiti funk, and a touch of sacred geometry. Over the last few months he began studying the structure of plants and flowers in an effort to incorporate these forms into his work. His recent flower mural, painted at The Box Shop, was one of the first in this new series.
Jeremy Novy - @jeremynovy
My murder of crows mural was inspired by the flight pattern of birds in clusters called a murmur. I enjoy how although the mural is obviously flat your eye is drawn from one side to the other as if the mural is somehow moving.
